My Path
My journey into design wasn’t linear—and that’s my strength. I started in law school, where I trained my mind to analyze problems from every angle. Later, supporting U.S. customers at Groupon taught me how to step into a culture that wasn’t my own, listen carefully to frustrations, and respond with empathy and clarity. What felt like customer service at the time was really my first lesson in design: understanding pain points, spotting patterns, and shaping solutions that worked for real people.
My Evolution
A few years later, I found myself in a preschool bilingual classroom, teaching English and Spanish to energetic kids. Every day meant juggling expectations—parents, curriculum, and children’s needs—all while making complex ideas simple and engaging. This is where I learned adaptability, creativity, and how to craft experiences that truly connect with different audiences.
What Shapes Me
Motherhood has supercharged my time management and empathy. I’m fascinated by early childhood education, toys, and tech that support children’s development. These personal interests often inspire how I think about design challenges—balancing curiosity, practicality, and human connection.
What I Believe
Looking back, these moments are the foundation of how I design today. UX for me isn’t just about interfaces or wireframes; it’s about clarity, empathy, and creating solutions that feel effortless because they’re built for people.
Beyond Design
When I’m not designing, you’ll find me enjoying hot summers ☀️, binge-worthy series 📺, planning my next adventure ✈️, or crocheting—bringing ideas to life, one stitch at a time.
During the pandemic, I discovered the amigurumi technique and started experimenting, designing toys myself.
Besides toys, I also designed and made other items, such as this neck pillow, or bags, and backpacks.
Since my son was born, I have been making things mainly for him: clothes, rattles, plush toys, and educational toys.
